Shreya Gajula

I am a counselor with a strong interest in mental and emotional well-being and a commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I'm fluent in English and Telugu. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults across behavioral health and crisis support settings, where I have supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, eating disorders, and difficult life transitions.

Through my work in both therapeutic and crisis intervention environments, I have developed the ability to remain calm, thoughtful, and supportive when individuals are experiencing significant emotional distress. I believe therapy should provide both understanding and practical tools, helping clients make sense of their experiences while also building skills to manage life’s challenges more effectively.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. I focus on helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, build self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of coping.

I believe meaningful growth happens gradually and often begins with feeling truly heard and understood. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
