Stephanie Badio
I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC-1), therapist, and doctoral candidate with over seven years of experience supporting individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis, and addiction, including those with complex or co-occurring needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices and real-world clinical experience, I help clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change at their own pace.In addition to direct clinical work, I bring extensive leadership experience in behavioral health settings, which deepens my understanding of systems of care, recovery pathways, and long-term wellness. I am fluent in Haitian Creole and deeply committed to equity, advocacy, and providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to partner with you in your healing journey — whether you are seeking support for mental health, recovery from substance use, or both — and to help you reconnect with your strengths, purpose, and sense of hope.
